I heard the Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success, the children had a wonderful time. Picture attached, Marines in Easter Bunny costumes. God Bless our Marines they will do what ever is needed for the children. More photos to come in the near future.
April 3, 2009 (Due to weather this event has been postponed until April 18, 2009)
1500 Children of 2nd Division at Camp LeJeune NC will be having a huge Easter egg hunt sponsored in full by MOM 4R MARINES. Many of these children’s parents are deployed; they need support and the ability to have a somewhat normal life.
Knowing their children are having a fun day such as this event also provides a huge boost to the morale of those deployed. 30,000 candy filled Easter eggs will be thrown around the parade grounds.
There will be separate areas set up for age differences as well as children with disabilities.
