MISSION SUCCESSFUL!
We have reached our Goal!!! The 3/8 Memorial monument with an 900 lb granite base is on the way to Camp LeJeune NC for the Memorial service in mid June. This monument will be a be a ever lasting tribute to the fallen warriors that made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our country.
I appreciate and have the deepest gratitude to all that assisted on this very worthy cause. THANK YOU!

We must show our respect and support to a battalion that has suffered a huge loss of their USMC brothers. The volatile situation in Afghanistan is a definite reminder of the earlier days in Iraq.
To date 3/8 has lost 12 dedicated and wonderful warriors since they deployed to Afghanistan in November 2008.
MOM4RMARINES wishes to build a Memorial Monument similar to the one we built for 3/2 back in 2007. Our fallen warriors and their families need to know we will never forget our heroes and the ultimate sacrifice that have made for our great nation.
We pray that we do not have one more KIA within our military. Unfortunately at a time of such unrest in Afghanistan and many more troops ready to deploy we know the reality.
Please help us achieve this mission of support and love. 3/8 is not due to re-deploy until sometime this summer. The cost for such a monument is approximately $7200.00. We realize that with today’s poor economy we are all feeling the pinch, big time; however any donation is more than appreciated, little donations will all add up before we know it.
