Current Projects

Deployment, Homecoming and Re-deployment

An ongoing project is the support provided for deployment and homecoming activities.  These are both difficult and rewarding times for Marines and Sailors as well as their families.  The activities surrounding these events can both ease and enhance the experience.  Our warriors deserve a hero’s homecoming and a celebration of reuniting with family.  May we all pray that all of our warriors will return safely to their loved ones.  Upon return, every effort will be made to assist in honoring any of our heroes that may have been unable to reunite with their loved ones and ensure their ultimate sacrifice and legacy is not forgotten.

Any additional funds will go towards supporting similar efforts in other battalions.

Birthday Cookies

The kindness of Merry, (known as The Rose Hill Cookie Lady) from Kansas is making its way to Marines, Sailors, Airmen and Soldiers currently serving our nation.  Some special Marines and Sailors from Camp Lejeune, NC will receive these cookies on their birthdays.  This is just a small portion of the “The Cookie Lady’s” large effort to send cookies as a means of thanks to the men and women serving overseas.  To date, she has sent over 120,000 cookies.
